Marlene Barrett-Ragkaswar Marlene Barrett-Ragkaswar is an occupational therapist. She began her career treating patients in a subacute setting at Parker Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation and transitioned into providing services in schools, acute care hospitals, homecare and in outpatient private practice. Marlene is currently the Director/Owner of Occupational Therapy for Productive Living, PC, and has been for 15 years. She is also the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) at Bellhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brookhaven, New York. Marlene is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New York State Occupational Therapy Association (LI chapter), The New York State Black Occupational Therapy Caucus, and board member for Giving Back to Community. She is also on the Events committee or Therapists’ Lounge, a consultant for Skilled Nursing Facilities, and enjoys being a clinical instructor for level I and 2 Occupational Therapy students. As a director, Marlene wants to create a caring environment where staff and patients can feel respected and appreciated.
