Mr. Everett Leach

Everett Leach became involved with Giving Back to Community in 2022 after his wife, Harrietta, connected with Dr. Emilian at her therapy center. After just a single volunteer event, Everett and his wife were fully committed to the organization’s mission. Inspired by Dr. Emeagwali’s vision to uplift underserved communities both locally and abroad, Everett now plays an active role in supporting fundraising efforts, operations, and strategic growth.

Bringing over 25 years of experience in finance, IT systems, and retail operations, including leadership roles at Barclays Capital and Kohl’s. Everett applies his broad skill set to enhance the nonprofit’s infrastructure and event execution. He holds an A.A.S. in Network Administration and Security from LaGuardia Community College and studied Accounting and Psychology at Baruch College.

Beyond his professional expertise, Everett is an engaged community leader and active member of The Brotherhood of St. Andrew and the Men’s Day Committee at St. George’s Episcopal Church. He continues to serve at local food pantries and community events with humility and heart, finding deep joy in even the simplest moments, like the smile of gratitude from someone receiving a warm meal or a helping hand.

Everett aims to help Giving Back to Community expand its reach across every state and country, one act of kindness at a time.
