Yvette’s involvement with Giving Back to Community began through a chance encounter with Dr. Emilian at physical therapy. An introduction that quickly evolved into a meaningful connection. She was especially drawn to the way the organization meets both spiritual and physical needs, offering nourishment, dignity, and attention to those who need it most.

Over the past three years, Yvette has actively contributed to the organization’s growth and outreach. She has supported a range of efforts, including planning events, drafting grant letters, and fundraising. Her hands-on work has included food distributions, clothing and shoe drives, and visits to local shelters.

She’s also been involved in the annual gala, which she sees as a powerful moment of community coming together to celebrate and invest in lasting change. Looking ahead, Yvette hopes to continue inspiring others to act and give with intention.
